Link to Kathey Norton Interview on Twirl Radio 11-21-15

I had an absolute blast on Twirl Radio (KUBU 96.5 Sacramento), where I had the pleasure of being interviewed by host Mike Lidskin, and the opportunity to bring a playlist of great songs that inspired my rock and roll based novel, What Becomes a Legend Most.

This link below is for the interview portion only, but I included the playlist below in case you want to check out some of these great songs in your spare time. Click on the 11-21-2014 interview link.

I was really happy to get the opportunity to include 2 songs from the late Michael Hutchence since I'm a huge INXS fan and loved Michael dearly. The day following the interview (11/22/15) was the 18th anniversary of Michael's untimely death. It's still hard to believe to this day that someone so full of life, beautiful (on the inside and out), and talented, could have left us way too soon. I'm so glad we still have all of his great music. Not many people got to hear the solo album since it didn't come out in his lifetime, but I highly recommend it if you haven't listened to it before. He was just an incredible performer and someone who continues to inspire me as a singer. The songs can be found on YouTube. On "Slide Away" Bono provides guest vocals.

I'm also happy that we got to spin music by a couple of Sacramento bands/performers that I greatly admire Bellygunner and Banjo Bones. Do yourself a favor and check out their music at the links below. They are talented and fantastic and all that's good and right about music.

Bellygunner (Sound Cloud):

Banjo Bones (Website): (you can listen to samples of his music)

Another great band from San Francisco. If you get a chance to see them live, do so. They're great!

So enjoy the interview and don't forget to support live music by going out to see local bands and performers in your area!

Peace and Happy Holidays!
